About Us

Scoop Yarn was originally developed as a kit called "Drunk Yarn” and is a playful offshoot of Round Mountain Fibers. Over the years we’ve worked on improving the kits, and finally decided to re-brand in the summer of 2024.

The kits contain several of the same high-quality bases that we use in Round Mountain Fibers, as well as the same dye (Greener Shades, certified for Organic Processing and Heavy Metal Free). They are designed for the knitter/crocheter/weaver who demands a high-quality yarn, and wants to try their hand at dyeing!

We love dyeing yarn, and we’re pretty sure you will too!
